The apartment is situated on the exclusive San Roque Golf Resort which hosted the 2005 and 2006 Spanish Open Golf Tournament. This is a fabulous resort, situated at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range and surrounded by a Cork Forest Nature reserve. The resort is in the vicinity of Sotogrande and less than 5 minutes drive from the coast.

San Roque Golf Resort is situated in the province of Cadiz and is easily accessed by the A7 National road. The Resort is in close proximity to three international airports
- Approx 15 minutes drive from Gibraltar Airport
- Approx 1 hour drive form Malaga Airport
- Approx 1 hour 10 minutes drive from Jerez airport

The glitz of Marbella and Puerto Banus are approximately 35 minutes drive to the east but from this wonderful location you can also experience something of the real Andalucía by heading north into the hills and visiting Ronda (50 minutes) or going west to the historical port of Cadiz (1 hour) or south west to the bohemian surfing town of Tarifa (50 minutes) with its famous white sandy beaches and the Atlantic surf.

Pueblo Nuevo village is 5 minutes and has a supermarket, shops, bakery etc… as is the Sotogrande Commercial centre.

The San Roque Golf Resort is in a beautiful and much less developed region of the Costa del Sol and will allow you to have a vacation which offers even more than the glorious sunshine, great food and sandy beaches.

Beaches Along the cost from San Roque Golf Resort there are numerous sandy beaches however the nearest to the apartment is the Alcaidesa blue flag beach which is 5 minutes drive. Alcaidesa has all the amenities one would expect, water sports, bars, restaurants, shower facilities, volley ball, sun shades and loungers. The beach here is a lovely beach which stretches for miles along the Mediterranean coast with views to Gibraltar and nestled in unspoilt surroundings. Tarifa is a fabulous beach along the Atlantic coast which is famous for surfing and its white sandy beaches. Tarifa has many bars and restaurants and is approximately 50 minutes drive from the apartment and well worth a visit. Golf The San Roque Golf Resort is situated in Golfers paradise. Apart from the fact that the apartment is sited on the environs of the premier San Roque golf courses Old and New there are also 3 other world class courses within 10 minutes drive of the apartment; namely Valderrama, Sotogrande and Almenara. There are another 20+ courses all within 30 minutes drive of the apartment. At the Golf Club there is a bar and grill restaurant which also offers a variety of tapas and is set in the magnificent terrace overlooking the golf course. For more formal dining there is the wonderful Bolero restaurant where one can enjoy an extensive Spanish menu with a touch of genuine Mediterranean flavour. The ‘best’ Japanese Restaurant in Andalucía KAMAKURA should not be missed. In the San Roque Golf Resort Commercial centre there is the delightful Hibiscus bar and restaurant. If you want to venture further for dining experiences there are waterfront bars and many restaurants in the upmarket Sotogrande marina. In Alcaidesa there are beach front restaurants where you can dine in style and listen to the waves. Evening Entertainment There is a reputable Casino 5 minutes drive from the apartment. The glamorous night life of Marbella is only 35 minutes drive or the Sotogrande nightlife can be reached in 10 minutes from the apartment. There is a Cinema complex in Los Barrios and La Linea each 15 minutes drive away.
